Overview
The organisation of this site reflects my main professional interests. Although these are presented as separate pages, for example 'teaching' and 'research', they are interdependent. My research informs teaching, and while I share my knowledge and experience through working with organisations, I also gain knowledge and new insights. These in turn inform my research and teaching. The teaching focus is on postgraduate management education.
The subject focus is corporate and competitive strategy, corporate governance, and research methodology. Here you will also find two courses I lead: Global Business Strategy and Corporate Social Responsibility. Research interests reflect these foci, but range beyond the teaching syllabus, encompassing the broader notion of corporate behaviour. Also included is my research interest in how adults learn in a higher education setting.

New course
Negotiated Study in Corporate Responsibility is a new module, designed to enhance the MA in Corporate Social Responsibility. The module is also available to other current postgraduate programmes.
This module is an innovation in that it allows the participant to define content, in consultation with the Course Leader.
